About Us

The first trade center of Anatolia, Kültepe, is considered the oldest trading city in world history with its trade documents such as the first credit ledgers with cuneiform writing, promissory notes, and inventory records. These documents, carved into the rocks, demonstrate that Kültepe-Kaniş Karum was the cradle of trade. This historical heritage, also certified by UNESCO, is being revitalized through the Kültepe Economic Summit, creating a "local and national economic forum".

This summit aims to become a shared value not only for our country but also for the common heritage of our heartland.

Objectives of the Summit

  • To evaluate the goals, strategic plans, policies, and regulations of our country; analyze local and global economic developments, examine potential markets and sectors,
  • To present opinions and suggestions to decision-makers for more efficient and effective use of national resources,
  • To contribute to strengthening democracy, human rights, and consumer rights,
  • To bring together technology developers, investors, producers, and project owners to lead the creation of new employment areas and markets.
Economic Vision for the Future from Kültepe

With Kültepe's trade heritage, we contribute to the local and national economy.

Kültepe is one of the oldest economic centers in the world, where the first trade records in history were kept. Inspired by this deep-rooted heritage, the Kültepe Economic Summit aims to guide the future with a local and national economic understanding.

The summit addresses our country's economic goals, strategies and potential markets, while offering new collaborations and opportunities for participants.

We are waiting for you to build the future together.
